Daydreaming, part 2

It was a sunny morning.
The wind blew gently, making the air feels a bit colder on such a sunny hour.
He drove home slowly, his duties were fulfilled, not much in mind then. Just going home, maybe sleep for a while, lunch...
As he drove to the right toward the entrance, another car was coming through the left lane, and since it had higher priority, he started to break.
The car passed almost in slow motion through his eyes, it wasn't exactly that slow but at the moment it felt so. The driver was a girl. Not some girl, in fact, it was she.
And as he stared amazed, she looked back at him, a shy smile appearing in her face.
His mind became a vortex of crazy and happy thoughts. She was there.
He accelerated again, driving right behind her car. For a moment, it seemed like both had the impulsive idea of parking their cars right there, at the middle of the street, but they could wait a bit more. These seconds between seeing her and parking somewhere legal felt like hours.
He parked right next to her, and as he opened the door to get out, she was already waiting for him outside. It's hard to define the joyous expression in her face, as it is hard to define the happiness he felt.
But you can rest assured that the hug that came next deserved to last forever.
