Wicked sick

Yeah... today was a hell of a cool day. Very good to see that your efforts actually were useful.
And there also was this movie to end the night, well, I guess it actually sucks, but I really liked it, maybe it's because today is... today.
There always those days when you feel very well, and in almost all of them there's actually no reason for that. Maybe it's a good movie, but, there's no accounting for a taste and I don't want to discuss about that.
I would really to play a game like Painkiller now, Painkiller is quite impressive for the amount of gore on each stage, and gets even better with those hints for keeping body and blood onscreen. In fact I would like to play Hellgate now, but with a body count... you know, it gets more exciting if you can see the numbers of your carnage.
And also today we had (when I say ''we'' in fact I'm saying ''I'', not so weird when you get used to it) those funny videos. Those ''nasty'' videos that we see the reactions at Youtube. Well in fact they are actually nasty, but, well, the reactions are just so... hilarious.
Just look for 2 girls 1 cup, 2 girls 1 finger, BME Pain Olympics, mr hands, kids in sandbox or spankwire at google. But, you'll be doing this at your own risk. And please put your reaction at Youtube.
Cheers for the twisted minds.

The stand

It'll be just a party after the church...
Just a party...
It'll be fast... it'll be fast...
Just keep telling yourself that.
Just forget reality while you're there.
Just keep away from what they say.
The more you daydream the faster it ends...
It won't last long...
It won't last long...
Just keep telling yourself that.

The Showdown

"The black wind howls..."
Magus

"Bring it on"
Duke Nukem

"What fun is destruction if no precious lives are lost?"
Kefka

"Until the day the sky rained fire..."
Warcraft III

"Come get some"
Duke Nukem

"I've got the brain! - Nuh-uh! "
Ogre-Mage

"Only death awaits you all"
Sephiroth
"Fight it out!"
Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen

Yeah... tomorrow's the great showdown... I still haven't given up.

Hell and Crysis

So, today there's we have the release of the "laughing at your pc" game.
Maybe Crysis is indeed very good. And there is a good probability of being so because Cry Tek has done a wonderful job at Far Cry, and this is the chance for them to really shine. And what a shine... Crysis at the maximum graphical quality is astonishing. But, it won't be so cool for everyone, that's how it works anyway, if you can waste a nice amount of money on your computer, you get more.
My problem with this game began at the time the real super screens appeared, I know it is good to play a beautiful game and all but, some people are looking at Crysis as it was the best game ever just because it simply smashes down your computer... this race for graphical quality is what worries me about the actual days of gaming industry. There are many games out there that are just eye candy, no story, no remarkable soundtrack, bad gameplay.
Well, I will play it in the (remote) future, and then I will see if it really deserves the good score it's getting. Hope I'm wrong.
Now for Hellgate London (special thanks for my best friend ever Juliana).
IT ROCKS! Okay, I normally don't talk like that but sometimes you can't hold it.
I can't understand how there is people saying the stages are totally repetitive, okay, there is indeed repetition at some places, but, come on, Diablo 2 had a lot of repeated locations (Act III, ring any bells?) and it was... well, it was Diablo 2.
The graphics doesn't even compare to the ones of the game I began talking this post, but they are very cool. Although I play in the low graphics for the lack of powerful computer specs. The only disappointment was the background of the Hellrifts, maybe it gets better looking at the high quality.
And about the sound, well I hear it, guess all these people who say they don't hear a damn music are having some bad luck. Ok, there are many moments of silence through the bloodbath, but for me that is not a problem. A Techno-Metal eternal soundtrack would have ruined this part of the game. And the shooting sounds are very good.
The gameplay is awesome too, running around looting items and slaying all that moves is a simple but effective formula.
Yes, there are bugs, like the occasional warp of those jumping beasts, but I haven't faced those memory leaks or deletions some complained.
Maybe my equipments are bad, but I found the Act I boss to be ridiculously hard. Maybe because I didn't run as I should. Hope yes because if you really are supposed to fight it the way I fought I'm really afraid of the final Act. Ah, and the templars seems to be in a real disadvantage in this game, because of the flying monsters and the strategical side of the marksman.
Well, that's my opinion.
Once again special thanks for Juliana (Special Edition, so pretty box)

Inner Struggle

Is it common to talk to yourself? I hope so.
Guess there are people who are born in the wrong world. Or maybe just the wrong century.
You know what I mean when you see something in a movie, or a game, or i don't know where, but you see, and you really wish you were there, in that situation. But you can't. And you know you are doomed to live in this world.
I don't really care if this sounds as ''nobody understands me'', the thing is just that sometimes you just need to be in that other world. You feel like you were made for that.
When you are in touch with that other reality, damn, it feels terrific. But it's always a slap in the face when you realize it just isn't real. But, this world has it's moments, you've got your friends, your life, and all that stuff. Guess it's just better not to think. Especially if in your head you talk with yourself, way of an unfriendly chat, if you know what I mean.
I know, I know, we all have to make a space for ourselves in this world. But there's no possibility of my place being the way I would like it to be, maybe (actually quite sure) it's better for mankind this way. And we have to fix it also (even though the actual situation is pretty bad, and there's those older people who keep with the ''which world will you leave for your children?'' talk... hell, look at the world have they left us to fix?). It just feels like the ''fantasy'' worlds are easier (and why not nicer?) to fix. It just depends on you, well, it actually only depends on you for changing our real world also, but there are billions of you's and many of them think that it depends on the whole, and as there are people who won't help, then it's no use to try to change.
Somewhat hypocrit that coming from me.
Well, we really are doomed to the ''what if...'' topic.

...But fight, for the living

I still need to play Hellgate.
I've got the demo, well, it kinda sucks, because it's so limited.
There's many people complaining, saying the game hasn't delivered what it promised.
Maybe it was over-hyped, I don't know. What I know is that, believe it or not, I liked the demo. The marksman of course. It mixes Diablo with Doom, and i don't think there are words to express what that means to me. Doom 2 was my first game for the computer, even though my addiction to it worried my father.
Well, there's Diablo 3 coming also, at least that's what people say. Have no hurry Blizzard, we wait as much time as it's necessary for perfection. And make it violent as hell.
